Aniimo Tier List: Roles, Stats, and Launch Picks

A role-based Aniimo tier list built from official index data: how DPS, BREAK, Heal, Support, and Energy Aniimo compare and who to build first.

Most Aniimo tier lists you will find right now were written from closed-beta data, and several of them say so in a banner at the top. This one is built from the official Aniimo index instead: published attribute values, the official element and role tags, and the actual trait and skill text on each creature page.

That approach produces a different kind of list. Instead of a single S-to-F ranking, it ranks within roles, because Aniimo teams are built from role coverage rather than from five copies of the strongest damage dealer.

How This Tier List Is Built

Every entry below is ranked using data visible in the official Aniimo index:

  • Role tag published on the creature entry (DPS, BREAK, Heal, Support, or Energy).
  • Element listed for the creature and its forms.
  • Attribute totals and individual values shown on the entry.
  • Trait and skill text, including EP costs and base power values.

There is no personal testing behind these rankings, and none is implied. Attribute values are a launch snapshot and can change with patches. Where a creature has no published attribute line yet, it is listed but not ranked.

The Five Roles in Aniimo

The official index groups all 86 indexed Aniimo into five roles. Knowing the counts is useful because it tells you where competition for a slot is heaviest.

RoleIndexed AniimoWhat the role does
DPS29Primary damage
BREAK26Builds stagger and breaks enemy stance
Support19Buffs, debuffs, and utility
Energy7Resource and stamina support
Heal5Restores team health

Heal is the smallest pool by a wide margin, which is why a healer is usually the hardest slot to fill and the one worth resolving first in a fresh account.

DPS Tier: Verified Launch Entries

Ranking below uses the published attribute line for each creature. S means the entry has both a strong damage value and a trait that multiplies damage; A means one of the two is present; B means the entry is a stepping stone.

TierAniimoElementWhy it lands there
SThornbladeGrassATK 121 with Sword Dance converting stacks into 180% extra basic-attack damage
SLunaraHolyATK 116, BREAK 64, and Lunar Power adding 30% final damage off-element
ASherroWaterATK 121 with Tidal Heart adding 25% Water damage in water terrain
AScorchhowlFireATK 119 and Scorching Flames adding 25% against elementally countered targets
AFulmintisElectricATK 130, REGEN 105, and Electro Stash restoring energy on critical hits
BBoneskyIceATK 88; Biting Wind needs five Ice Debuff stacks before it contributes

The split between Thornblade and Lunara at the top is a real one rather than a rounding error. Thornblade converts skill usage into a 180% basic-attack bonus, while Lunara converts both skills and Ultimates into four empowered basics plus 30% off-element damage. Bonesky sits lower because its trait requires the target to already carry five stacks of Ice Debuff, which takes setup time before it pays anything back.

Why ATK Alone Is Not the Ranking

Fulmintis has the highest published ATK of any entry in this table at 130, but it is ranked A rather than S. Electro Stash restores 4 EP on a critical hit, which is excellent sustain and a genuine reason to run the creature, but it does not multiply damage the way Sword Dance or Lunar Power do.

This is the pattern to look for when you evaluate a new Aniimo: a trait that multiplies existing damage usually beats a slightly larger base stat.

Heal Tier: The Smallest Role

Only five Aniimo carry the Heal tag, and the published numbers make the ordering fairly clear.

TierAniimoElementPublished value
SGlacyWater / IceTotal attributes 535, HP 120, M.DEF 110; Healing Water heals all allies for 8% of Glacy's max HP
ASkippyWaterHeal tag, indexed at NO.013
APrankyWaterHeal tag, indexed at NO.014
AFlutternymWindHeal tag, indexed at NO.028
AGracewingWindHeal tag, indexed at NO.029

Glacy leads because its healing scales off its own maximum HP and it has the largest HP and magic-defence values in the role. Healing Water also restores 12% of Glacy's max HP to itself over five seconds, so it does not fold the moment it is targeted.

BREAK Tier

BREAK Aniimo exist to open the window that DPS creatures then use. The role has 26 entries, so the honest answer is that most players will already own a usable one.

TierAniimoElementNote
SInferlupaFire / DarkFire/Dark coverage with the BREAK tag
SBlazenElectricBREAK tag on an Electric body
ATubsterWindEarly wind BREAK option
ABudclaw / ShrubclawRock / GrassIndexed at NO.023 and NO.024
ALavazar / MagmarexFire / RockHigher-index BREAK pair

For most accounts the practical rule is to use whichever BREAK Aniimo arrives first and matches your existing element coverage, then upgrade once a better one drops.

Support and Energy

Support covers 19 creatures and Energy only 7, which makes Energy the second-scarcest slot after Heal.

RoleStandouts from the official index
SupportLuminelle (NO.079, Electric), Chirpi (NO.007, Wind), Tromber (NO.008, Wind)
EnergyLeafy (Grass / Water), Witchin (Dark / Grass), Sparki (Fire), Flamerion (Fire)

Energy Aniimo are easy to overlook because their role does not show up in a damage number. They become relevant the moment you are running content that drains stamina or EP faster than your rotation can recover it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this Aniimo tier list based on testing? No. It is built from published attribute values, official role and element tags, and trait and skill text in the official Aniimo index. Nothing here is a claim of hands-on testing.

What is the best Aniimo in Aniimo? There is no single best creature. Thornblade and Lunara rank highest in DPS by published values, but Glacy's position in the Heal role matters more, because only five creatures carry that tag.

How many Aniimo are in the game? The official index currently lists 86 entries, numbered from NO.001 to the high entries, split across DPS, BREAK, Support, Energy, and Heal roles.

Should I reroll for a specific Aniimo? Rerolling is aimed at the starter slot, and both starter options are Holy DPS creatures. Given how many BREAK and Support entries exist, the starter choice is the smaller decision; the healer you end up with matters more.

Where can I verify each creature's numbers? Each entry links from the official Aniimo index, which publishes attributes, traits, skills, and habitats per creature.
